No matter what you’re going through in this moment, whenever you’re finding this. You’ve got this.
In a time where we are all facing uncertain times in our world I thought we all needed a little pep talk so here it is.
“Trust your own resourcefulness. It’s gotten you this far and it will continue to carry you. You will get through this. I don’t know what the other side looks like for you but I know you will get there.” - Amanda

Another tool at this time is yoga. What breath techniques do you have that will help you? Use them! What type of asana do you need in this moment? Do that! Don’t force yourself to do things that aren’t helpful for your nervous system right now. Listen to your body and do what you need.
What Will Stop You
One thing. Your excuses.
Yep, that probably sucks to hear but it’s really the only thing that will stop you from moving forward. When something is hard our brain (everyone’s by the way, not just yours) tells us “I can’t because…..”.
When you hear this thought pop up in your head, notice it and capture it. Our thoughts become our actions so we need to be careful with this one. Capture it and ask yourself one question:
Is that true? Really true, like 100% fact, truth?
Nine times out of ten the answer is no. Our brain will tell us we can’t when it’s actually just hard. When things are hard we make excuses. It’s not your fault, it’s how we’re wired. We all do this, you aren’t alone in this. But you have to notice these excuses so you can stop them from continuing.
Your next step
Listen to the audio of this podcast episode as many times as you need to figure out what your next step is. Whatever you’re determined to do, whatever you're determined to GET THROUGH right now, what is one step that you can take today that will get you closer to that goal? Is it making a list with “make a list” at the top so you can cross it off? Great, do that! Take action today, not tomorrow. Saying “tomorrow” makes another excuse. What can you do today that will help give you momentum to keep going tomorrow. Because tomorrow you will have wished you started today.
